    Brahma Kund

Situated at Brahma Ghat along the bank of River Sarayu, Brahma Kund is a sacred pond famous for association with Lord Brahma who meditated here for five thousand years. This place is equally important for Hindus as well as Sikhs. Gurdwara Brahma Kund Sahib is the oldest Gurdwara in Ayodhya Dham constructed at the place where Lord Brahma had spent more than five thousand years. Sikhs believe that the first saint of Sikh community Nanakdev Ji, the ninth saint Tegbahadur Ji and tenth saint Guru Govind Sing visited the place and spent some time here. These days Brahma Kund area is known for ‘Tent City’ established by UP government for the accommodation of tourists and visitors coming Ayodhya Dham on and after 22 January 2024.
