    Ram ki Paidi Ayodhya

    Ram ki Paidi in Ayodhya is one of the ghats of the series of ghats in Sarayu River, but it is special among them because Lord Ram used to take bath on this very Ghat each and every morning. Ram ki Paidi is actually a flight of steps on Nayaghat on the bank of Sarayu River where huge crowd of pilgrims and devotees take bath in the holy water of the holy river before Darshan Pooja. Ram ki Paidi has lush green gardens surrounded by temples as well. The riverfront brings forth a majestic landscape, especially in the floodlights. Ram ki Paidi draws huge crowds of visitors, pilgrims and devotees during the festivals, Ram Nawami, Sita Nawami, Dussehra and Deepawali. One of the grand events of Ayodhya, Deepotsav has become a big festival at Ram ki Paidi since last five years which starts two days before Deepawali and lasts on Dev Deepawali.
