Hundreds of South Korean tourists visit Ayodhya Dham every year to pay their tribute to the legendry Queen Huh Hwang-ok in Queen-Huh Memorial Park. According to a legendry story the Princess Suriratna of Ayodhya was a sailor. During an adventure she sailed to South Korea in a boat and met the Prince of Korea Kim Suro. They got married and considered to be the first queen of the Gaya Kingdom. The memorial space is located on the banks of River Sarayu has been named after a Korean Queen with Indian roots. The legend of Queen Huh is inscribed on a stone memorial in Korean and English. The monument was built in Korean traditional style using a 3 m high and 7500 kg heavy stone shipped from Korea. According to legend, the princess had taken a golden egg to Korea, and the park includes an egg made of granite. This park is an attraction for tourists of Korea and all other but it is also a symbol of friendship between India and South Korea.
