  • Qutub Minar Overview

    Qutub Minar is a historical monument in Mehrauli area, South Delhi. It is 73 meter tall; having five storey’s connected with. 379 spiral staircase. First three storey’s are made of red sandstone and rest two by marble. The campus contains a huge iron pillar having some information carved about King Anangpal Tomar, who had built it with seven storey as some historian believe, and also about the 27 temples which were destroyed.

    Timing: 7:00 am to 5:00pm, 
    Entry Fee: Rupees 30 for Indian citizen and Rupees 500 for foreigners, 
    Nearest Metro Station: Qutub Minar Metro Station, New Delhi.
