National Rail Museum has wonderful collection of the journey of Indian Railways from meter gauze to broad gauze, toy train to Vande Bharat train, steam engine locomotive to electric engine and wooden coaches to ultra modern steel coaches. An area of 11 acres has complete description of more than 150 years of development of rail journey in India, many documents, drawings, books and maps of past and present railway network. The museum has also some entertainment for children as toy train ride, 3D virtual coach ride, joy train ride and ride of ‘palace on wheels’.
Timings: 10:00 am to 4:30 pm (Monday closed), also from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Entry Fee: Adults-Rs.50, Children-Rs.10 but for weekends and holidays Rs.100 for adults and Rs.20 for children. For night entry on Friday to Sunday-RS200 for adults and Rs.150 for children.
