    Suraj Kund

Choudah Koshi Parikrama means one round around the holy temples of Ayodhya Dham walking along a certain path of twenty eight miles. Devotees do Choudah Koshi Parikrama in Ramnawami and Sitanawami. The procession of Ram Vivah also takes the same route. Suraj Kund is a big tank located at Choudah Koshi Parikrama Marg in Darshan Nagar area. The Kund is surrounded by beautiful Ghats and well decorated welcome gates. Devotees and visitors have many attractions along with a sun temple. Suryavanshi Kings of Ayodhya had built the Kund to pay obeisance to their origin Sun God.
