Birbal’s House Overview

Who does not know Birbal? Birbal’s House is one of the best attractions of Fatehpur Sikri, not due to its beautiful architecture but its association with Birbal, one of the most favorite ministers of Akbar. Birbal was a Hindu minister so his house reflects it. The building is built with red sandstone and white marble. The house has four interconnected rooms, floral designs on the walls, beautiful interior with Hindu centric geometrical and floral structures and roof with lotus and kalash domes. The house is situated just next to Jodhabai Palace.
