Khajuraho

Khajuraho has its own domestic airport having air traffic with almost all cities in India with daily or weekly flights. Some cities connected with daily flights are New Delhi, Mumbai, Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Bhopal. Some cities are connected with weekly flights twice a week or thrice a week such as Jaipur, Agra, Lucknow, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Chennai and Bangalore. Some of the popular carriers have regular flights operational are Jet Airways, spice Jet, Air India and JetKonnect. 

Khajuraho Railway station is connected to New Delhi with daily operating Nijamuddin Express, Udaipur, Jaipur Agra with Udaipur Khajuraho Express, many cities of UP by Bundelkhand Express and Maha Kaushal Express. Mahoba Junction is not very far from Khajuraho which is a very big railway station connected with hundreds of cities in India by almost fifty two trains operating daily, weekly and some twice daily and some twice a week. Mahoba junction is connected with Khajuraho by local trains as well as good roadways.

Many express ways, national highways, state highways and connecting roads to the towns and villages made in PM Gram Sarak Yojana a web of roads has been spread in and about Khajuraho. Deluxe Buses, Luxury Buses, AC Buses, State Transport Buses and Private Buses operating frequently serve the tourists especially those who are travelling from one tourist spot to other. Buses for Jhansi, Bhopal, Indore, Agra, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, New Delhi and many more cities ply daily. Advanced booking and current booking both options are being open for visitors according to availability of seats in buses. Cabs and Taxies registered with state transport department and some cabs registered with state tourist department are also serving the tourists with all the pleasure.
