Daftar Khana is a beautiful structural building made of red sandstone built on a raised platform having pillar combinations of four pillars each. The building has nearly 200 pillars in the formation of four in one combination. It was the administrative working place of Akbar’s empire where administrative and personal records and files were kept and operated. The building contains many rooms as well as many terraces all being connected with doorways and pathways.
