  • Rudraksha Convention Centre Overview

    In 2015 Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and our Prime Minister Narendra Modi met in Varanasi and decided to set up an International Convention Centre ‘Rudraksha’ in religious and cultural city Varanasi, the work started and the centre came in existence and became functional in 2021 enforcing India-Japan year long friendship with more positive energy. Rudraksha International Convention Centre has been developed into major centre for cultural gatherings, providing a platform to supernatural cultural store of Varanasi, Music and Dance gharanas of Banaras and artists of many other forms in Varanasi by establishing a confluence with modernity. Rudraksha International Convention Centre Varanasi is built in the shape of a huge Shivling having mixed architecture of India and Japan. Entrance id decorated with Rudraksha, a holy fruit intimate to Lord Shiva as religious epics like Shiv-Puran describe. The convention centre has capacity to sit 1200 people at a time in main hall. The centre is equipped with modern facilities and artificial intelligence equipments according to building management systems. For debate purpose a meeting hall of capacity nearly 150 people divided in two groups, well equipped with modern sound and microphones, lighting arrangements and computer setups is functional. A VIP room and four green rooms are also constructed here. Japanese style garden and landscaping have been done here. Parking space for more than 150 vehicles has been arranged in basement. Whole complex is in the range of high definition close circuit cameras, electricity, generators and solar power backups all are working and managed by skilled managers. Tourists should visit the centre and inspect the vision of PM Modi.
