One of the oldest temples in Ayodhya built in 10 th century, Hanumangarhi Temple is very famous temple with a belief that one should take permission of mighty Hanuman to visit the temple of Ram Lalla, so visitors have to visit Hanumangarhi Temple first and after that they can rush to the other temples. Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir is just one kilometer away from this temple. Hanumangarhi Temple is shaped like a fort with circular ramparts at the corners having shrines dedicated to the primary deity Hanuman. After ascending more than seventy five stares one can reach to the main sanctum sanctorum i.e. Garbhagriha adorned with silver carvings and beautiful structures of plants, flowers and many other Hindu symbols carved on the walls and pillars. The central part of the Garbhagriha has three intricately designed doors leading to the inner chamber where an idol made up of gold of child Hanuman is positioned in the lap of mother Anjani, adorned with silver Tulsi-Garland inscribed with the name of Ram. The verses of Hanuman Chalisa are inscribed on the walls of the temple. This temple is one of the most popular attractions of Ayodhya Dham.
Timings: The temple is opened 24 X 7 except 11:00 am to 12:00 noon.
