  • Buland Darwaza Overview

Buland Darwaza is the grand doorway that leads to Fatehpur Sikri from Agra. People say that it is the symbol of Akbar’s victory over Gujarat. The huge gate is made of red sandstone and decorated with white and black marble. It is nearly 50 m high and nearly 80 m broad. Architecture of the Buland Darwaza is so fascinating that visitors take a number of photographs yet they feel something missing in their collection.
