Chaturbhuja Mandir is a tenth century Hindu temple located in Jatakari village in Southern part of Khajuraho. Chaturbhuja means having four arms, one of the names of Lord Vishnu, clarifies that the temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Due to its location in village Jatakari, locals call the temple as Jatakari Mandir. It is only temple in Khajuraho missing the erotic sculptures. The temple consists of a sanctum without ambulatory, vestibule, mahamandap and an entrance porch. The temple stands on a Modest, raised platform. Walls of the temple are decorated with three bands of sculptures apsaras, flying couples, dancing artists etc. The main idol in the temple is of four armed Lord Vishnu, 2.7 meters high, facing towards south direction and of course very charming.
